The Red Apple - Room for the Happy View

Een week geleden was er een open dag in The Red Apple. Een mooie gelegenheid om ons apartement in aanbouw te zien. De 35e etage was opengesteld, terwijl ons apartement op de 34e ligt. Dit is ongeveer op 100m hoogte. Degene die niet bekend zijn met The Red Apple, hierbij de website: http://www.theredapple.nl.
Wij kwamen er net achter dat wij nog niet eerder iets op de website hebben gemeld van onze aankoop. Het apartement hebben we gekocht met lange termijn gedachte om toch een ‘huis’ te hebben in Nederland. We zullen het voorlopig verhuren, zodra het begin volgend jaar is opgeleverd.
Het is een supergaaf knalrood project in hartje Rotterdam. Mijn ouders hebben de honours waargenomen en een aantal mooie foto’s gemaakt. Zij hebben genoten van het mooie uitzicht. Vanuit ons apartment kijk je uit over Rotterdam centrum, Delft en met heel helder weer kun je wellicht Schiphol zien liggen.

A week ago, there was an open day in the Red Apple. It was a great opportunity to view our apartment under construction. The allowed people to view the 35th floor, while our apartment is at the 34th. This is at roughly 100m height. Those of you not familiar with The Red Apple, this is where you can find more about it: http://www.theredapple.nl.
We just discovered that we never mentioned anything before on the website about us buying this apartment. We have bought it for the long term, to have a house in the Netherlands. We will rent it out for the time being, after it will be finished early 2009.
The Red Apple is a very cool bright red project in the middle of Rotterdam. My parents actually went to the open day in our place. They enjoyed the view and took some nice pictures. From our apartment you can see the city centre, Delft, and with clear skies perhaps Schiphol airport.
