“Nee”
“Waarom niet? Jij gaat zo Jezus eten.”
“Waarom?”
“Hij is lucht.”
Einde discussie.
Their own interpretation
Floor and Lars are not raised religiously. We discuss differences in beliefs among people, which they come across at school and friends. They form their own interpretation, as tonight's conversation, which I overheard, shows.
While eating her icecream Floor shares: “You know, Jezuz determines about all people in the world.”
Lars replies licking his icecream: “Not in India.”
“He determines about all people.”
“Not in India.”
“Why not?”
“They have other gods there. There are also Greek gods.”
A minute of ice enjoyment in silence follows, then Lars asks: “Will you be eating Jezus?”
“No”
“Why not? You will be eating Jezus.”
“Why?”
“He is air.”
End of discussion
